Text Box: We believe in farming as naturally as we can. Because of this philosophy, Ursula spends much of her time monitoring the vineyard to prevent problems. Natural farming requires a lot of hands-on work and takes extra time. Since we don’t use herbicides to control weeds, we mow the rows and hand-hoe under the vines. We use organic sulfur dust to control mildew and rot. We have also found that we can use fewer applications by carefully monitoring weather and pressure.
