Text Box: It’s time to get to work in the vineyards again. Spring begins with a wonderful push of fresh bright green leaves on the vines. However, with it comes a full crop of weeds that need to be mowed. This beautiful renewal amazes us every year. Often, early Spring can be rather cold and we are fortunate to have benchland vineyards that are not as exposed to the risk of frost. Many of our neighbors on the valley floor have had their share of sleepless nights on frost watch... ready to turn on wine machines, smudge pots or sprinklers.

A new and yet unknown vintage hides in the spring growth with the hope and expectation of a wonderful harvest.
